Forthcoming Training Sessions:    

U12 will recommence training on 27^th April 6.30pm at St Owens Cross Ground. One session is 3 will be run by Andy Bevan who will provide technical training to the team in anticipation of the following season. The Current manager and coaches will take the following on sessions reinforcing the coaching delivered by Andy. Assessments of progress will be made by Andy and from this further training and development sessions will be built upon. This will continue during the spring and early summer period.
There will be a summer break during the holiday period however dates for this will be announced at the AGM.
t is proposed (to be agreed with the Parents) that during next season winter training (end of October to March) will NOT be held at Monmouth, instead we will be encouraging players to attend regular training sessions at ABC on a Thursday evening under the guidance of Andy and attended by U12 Manager. Further details regarding this new training plan will be published in the website in the coming weeks after consultation with the parents.
It is anticipated that this new training program will provide far more technical development and consistency for the U12 as they move to U13 with a very high standard of coaching being provided by Andy and reinforced by the team manager and coaches. Also the location of the winter training is far more central than Monmouth and will be on floodlight grass pitch rather than Astroturf, which will provide far more consistency during this part of the season.
I hope that the proposed winter program will be supported by all the parents and children within the team, but as stated this is a proposal at present and requires full consultation and agreement of the parents and players .

                Chris Phillips Jnr is studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Sports and Excercise Sciences, Level 1 coach and is a FA qualified 11 aside and small sided Referee.
                Chris Lambert  is a qualified FA Level 1 coach
