Home pitch for 2008/9 is St Owens Cross, Herefordshire HR2 8LG, which is located on the B4521 between St Owens Cross and the A49.

Garway U'13's Lions got to the quarter finals in the Fownhope football tournament on the 19th of June 2010.Well done to all the boy's who took part and the support from all parents.
Garway U'13's got to the final of the Bromyard tournament out of 12 teams and were the only Herefordshire team to reach the final coming runners up to a very good Worcestershire Team. All boy's put 100% effort and determination to come away with this credible result,there was tremendous cohesion amongst the team.It was a great day.
There will be training on Wednesday's between 1830-1930 on Wednesdays until end of July and then a summer break,with training resuming two weeks before the start of the new league season playing as U'14's.

We currently have fourteen boy's signed for U'14's season with recent new signings.

U14's Sponsor for 2010-2011 season will be Wye Valley Construction.

Fownhope football tournament on Saturday 19th June 2010 (Team's A and Team B).
Bromyard football tournament on Saturday 26th June 2010 (Team's A and Team B)

In a fiercely contested fair match between old rivals Garway U'13's secured a good win against Ross United Sharks U'13'S.
The goal scorers for Garway were Ben Gildersleve and Tim Ward both were brilliant well deserved goals.
The Garway team today were Ruairi Davies (Capt),Mathew Townsend,Jordan Mince,Samuel Cutter,Ben Gildersleve,Ewan Hunt,Harry Trew,Mathew Francis,Olly Ruck,Tim Ward,Perry's Pullen,Mathew Callwood,Anthony Gwynne.

28th Feb 2010 Coaches retire

The management at Garway would like to thank Paul Davies and Dave Trew for their dedication to football over the last several years and especially Paul for setting up the pitch at St Owens Cross,obtaining a football foundation grant for the goals, line marking the pitch with Dave and for Dave's determination mowing the pitch to achieve a first class venue for league football. A big thank you from the club.

Chris Callwood the "Butcher" in Ross on Wye is determined to keep this country team going his son plays and has developed into an excellent player he would like to carry on the ethos of Dave and Paul giving every boy a chance. Chris vow's to continue in Pau and Dave's stead being fair and giving all boy's the opportunity to play. Chris still has the support of Dave and Paul but would prefer to be 3 + 4 OIC. This is a brilliant team that has a lot of talent and develops a lot of talent. I have recently communicated with the team manager from Ross Dynamao's Manager who unfortunately have folded and invite boy's and parents to contact Chris Callwood at the best Butchers shop in Ross on Wye.I ask that some of the boy's who are turning to the dark side "rugby" to reconsider you are good football players and I cannot fault you as my background is rugby and only brought into the affray by a marvelous person and leader of people Jon Pearce.

Forthcoming Training Sessions:

The U'13'S continue to train at St Owens cross from 1830-1930 hrs on Wednesdays throughout the summer the senior coach is now Chris Callwood and Grant Cutter is in charge of sub's.Chris will be a signing a new team as from 1st June 2010.
